Each bedroom has its own airy balcony overlooking the beach, ocean, town, and mountains. There is also a beautiful living/dining room terrace overlooking the pool, beach and Banderas Bay, fantastic for sunsets and whale watching. The kitchen, living and dining room are open to the soaring thatched roof with an open plan. There is a covered patio down by the pool along with plenty of comfortable chairs, umbrellas, and side tables for comfortable lounging pool side.There is an expansive, lush lawn and garden at the rear of the building, great for relaxing and reading with the ocean breezes and swaying palm fronds gently sighing around you. All windows have screens and custom curtains. The whole house water purification system allows safe drinking from any faucet or shower.This beautiful and striking Penthouse is perfect for 3 couples or a family gathering. We had a wonderful stay at Penthouse Albatross. The location is perfect; right on the beach with amazing sunrises and sunsets every day. Walking distance to good restaurants and to Mary Paz’s market (anything you need, you’ll find at Mary Paz’s). Only 20 minutes from PVR airport, and 20 minutes to the Romantic Zone in downtown Puerto Vallarta. The home is traditional Vallarta style, which we love, and was everything we could have wanted. The longtime manager, Jorge, couldn’t have been any more helpful and courteous. He gave us great advice on places to go and banmk locations to change money at the best rates. The house maid is unobtrusive but very helpful when you do seek them out. We’re already looking at booking again for next year.

Albatross is our favorite place to stay in Mexico. As soon as we walk into the beautiful house, our stress levels just plummet. We love to bring friends and family just so we can watch their jaws drop. We have stayed 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed each time. They each have their own sense of serenity and charm. Penthouse Albatross is always clean and well stocked with the essentials. If you can’t find it, just ask the great manager, Jorge. He is always available and very helpful. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy a little piece of heaven.
